Why a blog? I have wrestled with the issues of pride regarding blogging. There are plenty of people who I would want to read their thoughts on so many topics – but why in the world would anyone want to hear what I have to say – about anything!!! I am honestly not sure why. I have nothing that would imply that my thoughts or opinions are worth hearing.

Well, there is one thing…I’m getting old. Because of that age, I have experience that allows me to put things in some context. So maybe, just maybe I will try this to see if it serves – my children, my grandchildren, and anyone else who might stumble across my ramblings.

But wait – I have two reasons. The second is failure! Yes, I can claim so many failures that somewhere, somehow, somebody can profit from my failures and avoid the pitfalls that I have so skillfully found, and with great gusto, fallen into.
